May... and spring has arrived. Fresh lush plant grown, and many butterflies (up to 35 species) are on the wing. It is at this time of year than many specialist species occur, species which can only be found in certain parts of the UK... such as the Swallowtail, Britain's largest butterfly only to be found in the Norfolk Broads and the Chequered Skipper nor restricted to parts of Western Scotland.
